This blog is for essay's I have written concerning present day culture and society. It is running congruent with a Sociology class I am taking at The University of Central Missouri taught by Dr. Karen Bradley. The goal is to analyze, speculate, and research how our daily lives and activities are affected by our surrounding culture. Visual Me
Our assignment was to use a box and decorate with images that describe ourselves. I flatted out a box, covered it with butcher block paper and used images from magazines. When I finished and saw my classmate's projects I realized there was no clear-cut theme to mine. It was quite random. Which actually in itself made quite a statement about my personality and it's post-modern undertones.
I am a student at the University of Central Missouri majoring in Sociology and double minoring in Philosophy and Graphics. Outside of being a student I enjoy being a Resident Assistant, being involved at the Baptist Student Union, drinking coffee (especially from Java Junction), I love to make music, and analyzing/ philosophizing about life's mysteries.
I have lived in a lot of different places over the course of my short life.
